The Top NFL Teams Ranked
This list is always up to date up. Whether you view this list during the off season, preseason, or throughout the regular season, it will reflect our staff's latest combined rankings.

Rank Team Notes
1
New England Patriots
What a phenomenal year. Yes, they cheated, but wow. Playing very, very well. Moss has been a stud. No running game, but they don't need it.
2
Indianapolis Colts
Playing like champs, even with the injuries. Will they rebound this year? Some guys are back healthy.
3
Pittsburgh Steelers
Looking really good with Bruce Arians running the offense and Tomlin as HC and retooling the defense.
4
New York Giants
Manning is playing much better and they won the Super Bowl! What a year.
5
Dallas Cowboys
Amazing offense, amazing defense. Watch out. Clearly the one of the tops in the NFC.
6
San Diego Chargers
One of the better teams in the AFC, but their division is getting stronger.
7
Jacksonville Jaguars
Looking a lot better this year. Some huge wins on the road this year.
8
Denver Broncos
Great off-season. But they don't seem like they have gelled yet. Lots of issues on defense. Lots of new WRs and RBs. Cutler still finished 11th overall QB with undiagnosed diabetes.
9
Green Bay Packers
Can Rodgers continue the trend? Probably, but risky.
10
Seattle Seahawks
New RBs and run game should help.
11
Philadelphia Eagles
Healthy McNabb to start, 2 years removed from knee. Back on track.
12
Carolina Panthers
Poised to win their division. New RB should help. Delhomme is healthy.
13
Cleveland Browns
Wow, what an offensive explosion last year!
14
Tennessee Titans
When they win, it's luck.
15
Cincinnati Bengals
The offense has always been talented. Can they gel? It seems like they are beating themselves. Their defense has serious probles.
16
Tampa Bay Bucs
Wow. What an upside down division. Graham should carry them.
17
Washington Redskins
Doing very well now. Campbell continues to progress.
18
Chicago Bears
Orton at QB will lend some consistency and predictability.
19
Saint Louis Rams
Wow, what a disaster. Should be better with healthy Steven Jackson and some fresh legs on online.
20
Houston Texans
A lot of improvement, but they need to win more.
21
Atlanta Falcons
Signs of life, but still need to improve. Last year was painful to watch. Vick? Patrino? Wow!
22
Baltimore Ravens
Weak on offense. Defense is not as great as it used to be. Boller or Smith at QB?
23
New York Jets
Not looking good. They need to win a game. Pennington is just making too many mistakes.
24
Kansas City Chiefs
Slow start, but now their offense seems to be working. Is Croyle their future?
25
Oakland Raiders
Can the offense match the defense? Can be an interesting year for them.
26
Arizona Cardinals
Great WRs, need a run game. May contend for their division.
27
Detroit Lions
The offense is on fire. A few nasty games, but playing well.
28
Minnesota Vikings
Besides Adrian Peterson, this team looks bad. They need WRs that can catch. Bye, bye Williamson.
29
San Francisco 49ers
Have they regressed or what? Struggling.
30
New Orleans Saints
May surprise us this year with a healthy Deuce.
31
Buffalo Bills
Need serious help. A lot of young players on offense.
32
Miami Dolphins
Wow, looking awful. Can the Tuna beef them up?
