Football Times will start postsing a series of podcasts on various topics of interest for our readers. Podcasts are mp3 files that can be downloaded and listened to on iPods and other mp3 players in the car, at home, or on the computer.
"I get a sense that a lot of people are downloading these and listening to them and they find them enjoyable," said Mohammed Alo, Editor of Football Times. "Our first few podcasts will be about the NFL draft and the top 32 prospects that our Draft Guru has written about in his article. "We want to give our readers a little something extra and provide a discussion and dialogue that they can join."
In the first installation of podcasts, Mohammed Alo will interview Noure Alo, Football Times' Draft Guru, and discuss the big name prospects. Noure Alo works as an attorney in Columbus, Ohio and is intimately involved in Ohio State athletics and has been following football since the early 80s. Noure has actually worked in the legal department at the Ohio State University Athletic Department. He is a student of the game and a student of football history. His analogies and analysis are top rated and have appeared on numerous football websites.
"I think our readers will appreciate his insight and analysis. We already have people from other websites talking about some of his draft analysis and saying that it's the best they've read," said Mohammed.
The Draft Guru has 24/7 access to the draft discussion forum, via his Blackberry/PDA device, and will answer questions quickly. Readers can log in and ask him questions and get answers throuhgout the day.
Football Times will post podcasts on various topics, starting with the upcoming NFL draft and other topics of interest. Our readers are encouraged to pose questions or suggest topics in the daft discussion forum.
